Because three is always better than two, Samsung has unveiled another wearable smartwatch — the Gear Fit. Unlike the other two smart watches though, the Fit is well…umm a fitness tracker packing some comprehensive fitness tools.

The Gear Fit comes with a 1.84-inch curved super AMOLED display, Bluetooth 4.0, an interchangeable strap, and is dust and water resistant. Other features include an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart monitor and a 210 mAh battery, which Samsung states should be good enough for two to three days.

“Samsung understands that the next generation of wearable mobile solutions must directly reflect of the diverse interests and needs of consumers,” said JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics. “In response, our Gear product portfolio continues to expand with unique devices for a wide range of lifestyles, including the new Gear Fit designed to help those consumers striving to live more fit and active lives without sacrificing their own personal style or their ability to stay connected on the go.”

Apart from all the fitness related goodies, the Fit can also receive and show notifications from your Galaxy device including incoming calls, texts, emails, alarms and other such notifications. The changeable straps will be available in Black, Orange and Mocha Grey. The Gear Fit will be available globally from April at an unknown price.
