Samsung Screen Envy ad

Samsung’s tagline, “The Next Big Thing is Here,” has proven quite adaptable, as the company continues to use it for just about everything they launch when it comes to the mobile market. Obviously, it makes sense, considering the devices keep getting bigger. And now they want to remind everyone that the main competition has a smaller display.

Samsung has another advertisement out there in the wild, this time a 30-second spot showcasing two friends (we’d assume) sitting at a table, looking at their phone. And when one of them, the iPhone user, says that the next iPhone could be getting a bigger display, the real fun begins. They compare screen sizes, showcasing the Galaxy S5’s bigger screen, and the voice-over tells you to stop waiting (unless you really like it). The next big thing is here.

Earlier in July, Samsung launched their “Wall Huggers” ad, which showcased the Ultra Power Saving Mode on the Galaxy S5, and compared it to the “wall huggers” that are iPhone users, begging for juice at wall sockets in busy airports. Another ad put the iPad Air against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S, and talked about babies and horror movies.

You can check out the ad below. And, have you stopped waiting for a device with a bigger display?
