Samsung has been working hard on restoring consumer confidence into its brand since the Galaxy Note 7 battery fires last year. The company even published detailed results of its investigation into the battery fires and announced an eight-point safety check for all its devices going forward.
Now, the Korean company has released a 1-minute video highlighting its Quality Assurance process and the extensive tests it runs on its devices.
The video highlights tests, re-tests, and tests its phone again and again by dropping them continuously, exposing them to extreme temperatures, dropping them in water, putting extreme physical pressure on them, and more.

Reportedly, the additional eight-point safety check from Samsung has played a key role in delaying the launch of the Galaxy S8 this year. Instead of launching the Galaxy S8 at MWC like it has done in the last few years, Samsung will now be unveiling the handset at a separate event in New York on March 29.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will reportedly feature a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, respectively, with minimal bezels. The devices will be powered by an Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 chipset and come with 6GB RAM.
