Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 isn’t quiet on sale in the United States just yet, and it’s barely been taken out of the box in South Korea, but that hasn’t stopped Samsung from trying to put more eyeballs on the upcoming handset. Especially if they can try to take a few jabs at Apple at the same time.
A new ad has been found for the Galaxy Note 4 (and for Apple’s “iPhone 7”) in a newspaper, with an image of the ad sent in to PhoneArena. The ad showcases a Galaxy Note 4 in a blueprint format, seen from all of its angles, and with the S Pen stylus underneath for good measure. Underneath the image, the quote read, “Dear Apple, here’s a headstart for the iPhone 7.”
Even before the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were officially announced by Apple, Samsung’s “Screen Envy” advertisement poked fun at the upcoming bigger handsets, telling those who saw the ad that waiting wasn’t necessary and that a big-screened phone was already here, ready for purchase. Of course, it hasn’t always been about screen size, as Samsung is just as likely to poke fun at Apple’s iPhone battery, and lack of a feature to keep it going for extended periods of time.
What do you think of the new blueprint ad?
