Just a couple of days after teasing their launch on Twitter, Samsung today launched its Galaxy On series of smartphones in India: the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. Both handsets were initially unveiled by the company in China last month.

The Galaxy On5 is the cheaper of the two handsets launched today, and comes with a 5-inch 720p display, a 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 chipset, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, an 8MP rear shooter, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a built-in 2,600mAh battery. The Galaxy On7, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch 720p resolution display, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset, a 13MP rear shooter, and a 3,000mAh battery. Other specs of the handset remain the same as its cheaper sibling.
