Samsung today launched a special edition Galaxy Note 5 in South Korea that offers 128GB of storage space. Dubbed the Winter Special Edition, the device will be offered in Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colors through SK Telecom and KT.
The only notable change visually on the ‘Winder Special Edition’ Note 5 is the placement of the Samsung logo at the rear, which has moved towards the bottom compared to being placed beneath the camera sensor in the normal variant.
The price of the special edition Galaxy Note 5 starts from 999,900 Korean won, and to sweeten the deal, Samsung is bundling a free fast wireless charger with it. The company is also bundling a free Gear VR headset with the purchase of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge+.
Samsung only offers the Galaxy Note 5 with 32GB and 64GB of storage space in the international market. Considering that the device is aimed at power users, I am guessing there will be a fair bit of demand for a 128GB variant of the Note 5 in other regions of the world as well.
