We’ve seen plenty of phones with dual rear camera setups, and in 2018 we’ve even seen some incoming with three cameras on the back. Now Samsung is upping the ante yet again.
Before the end of this month, rumor has it that Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy A9. This handset will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage. The battery is said to measure in at 3720mAh, it will have a microSD card slot, and the device will also have a 24MP front-facing camera.
But the real star of the show will be the vertical layout for the four cameras on the back. The first of which will be an 8MP ultra-wide camera, with a 10MP telephoto lens below that. The main camera is a 24MP offering, and the fourth camera is a 5MP depth camera to handle those bokeh effects. There will be a flash positioned below the camera setup, and the fingerprint reader will be on the back of the phone as well.

Word on the street is that Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy A9 at an event on October 11 event, so we don’t have long to wait and see if Samsung really is about to announce a phone with four rear cameras.
