Samsung today has started sending out press invites for its UNPACKED event, which will be held at IFA in Berlin, Germany next month.
The event is scheduled to start on September 3rd at 2PM local time where Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 — its flagship for the second half of the year.
The company might also unveil its recently leaked Gear VR — a virtual reality headset — and a new Android Wear running smartwatch with a curved design.
The specs of the Galaxy Note 4 have already made their way to the Internet, though the actual pictures of the device are yet to leak. The phablet will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5433 processor, a 16MP rear camera with OIS, a fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor and even a UV sensor.
A lot rides on the shoulders of the Galaxy Note 4, especially with the sales of Samsung’s Galaxy devices slowing down and its profit plummeting.
