According to The Korea Times, Samsung will supply Google with “high-end OLED screens for Google Glass.” The Korean publication says Google might release Glass by the end of this year, but I have high doubts that’s going to be the case.

The piece goes on to say that Google takes their relationship with Samsung very seriously, and that Samsung has proven themselves to be a competent supplier of components and devices. The same obviously can not be said for LG, which had major difficulties manufacturing enough Nexus 4 units late last year.

What I really want to know, ultimately, is how will real world people respond to Glass? It’s one thing for Google to seed 1,000 pairs of Google Glass to developers who were lucky enough to attend Google I/O, but it’s another thing altogether to convince regular folks that they need to wear an always connected heads-on display.
