Music streaming is all the rage these, and for good reason too. Who in their right mind wants to manage files anymore? Just type in what you want to listen to, hit play, and you’re done. Renting, not owning, is the future of media, but I digress. Down in Australia, people who buy a Galaxy Note II or a Galaxy S III from Mo’s Mobile will receive one year of unlimited music streaming for free.
Which music service is Samsung using? Is it Spotify? Rdio? Napster? Nope, it’s Samsung’s very own Music Hub, which I honestly didn’t know even had music streaming until I read this news on SammyHub. Anyway, is this deal niche? Absolutely yes. The GS3, while still a capable phone, is old. And the Note II, which I love to death and purchased with my own money back in January, will become obsolete in less than 30 days. Also, Mo’s Mobile isn’t exactly a big chain either. There are 85 of them, which sounds like a lot, but there are nearly 23 million people in Australia.
Still, hell of a headline, eh?
