It has been several months since the first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2, a flip phone running Android, surfaced on the ‘net.
But now the manufacturer has made the handset official. It will be available in South Korea, and it will be available in both burgundy and black colors. It has a slightly larger keypad than the original Galaxy Folder flip phone, but otherwise it looks quite a bit like the original handset.
It does feature a 3.8-inch display, a 1950mAh battery, Android 6.0, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and it can support storage up to 256GB. There is also an LTE model and a 3G variant, with pricing starting at 297,000 won (or $260 USD). Samsung doesn’t make any mention that the Galaxy Folder 2 will see the light of day outside of South Korea, at least not at this time.
Have you tried an Android-powered flip phone?
