Recently, Samsung unveiled two variants of the Galaxy Tab A, essentially launching two brand new Android-powered tablets into the market.
That wasn’t enough for the company, apparently, as Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy Tab E, another Android-powered tablet. This one features a 9.6-inch display with a resolution of 1280×1800, and a 1.3GHz quad-core processor under the hood with 1.5GB of RAM. There’s an 5MP camera on the back, with a 2MP front-facing camera on the other side. It’s built-in with 8GB of storage and has a microSD card slot for extra storage if needed.
It’s running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and the battery is measured in at 5000mAh.
As far as a launch window goes, it’s available beginning this month for $225, but only in Taiwan. Whether or not it’s available in other markets at some point down the road remains to be seen.
