Samsung has a positive streak with the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8, and it will look to capitalize on that next year.

As such, there is a lot riding on the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, which are expected to be next year’s new flagship smartphones. Now, VentureBeat has a report aiming to shed some light on what people can expect to find when those phones are announced in the early part of 2018. First and foremost, that Samsung will apparently be bringing both phones to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next year.

However, while the company will have the devices on hand, they might not be showing off a lot, as Samsung allegedly plans on hosting a big reveal some time in March, too.

Still, the report does reveal that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will boast a 5.8- and 6.2-inch Infinity Display, respectively, just like this year’s models did. However, there will be some changes. First and foremost, Samsung will be differentiating the new devices beyond just the screen sizes. According to the unnamed sources, the Galaxy S9 will have 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S9+ will have 6GB of RAM on board. They will both have 64GB of built-in storage, though.

In addition to that, the Galaxy S9+ will reportedly also boast a dual camera setup on the back of the phone, while the Galaxy S9 will only have a single shooter. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will also reportedly boast a repositioned fingerprint sensor on the back, moved lower to make it easier to reach. Finally, the new flagships for 2018 will also be keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack, too.

The new devices will probably see an official launch in March, even if they are present at CES 2018 in January.
