Despite coming with a bezel-less design, the Galaxy S8+ with its 6.2-inch QHD+ display is bigger than almost every other major smartphone in the market right now. The bigger dimensions of the handset has allowed Samsung to fit in a bigger 3500mAh battery on the device as well. So, while the S8+ comes with a slightly larger display than the Galaxy S8, the bigger battery will ensure that it is able to offer better battery life than the Galaxy S8 as well.

The bigger display and battery life also mean that the Galaxy S8+ is more expensive than the Galaxy S8. Depending on the market you live in, the premium for the larger Galaxy S8 model will be anywhere between $100 to $150.

If pre-order numbers are anything to go by, consumers in most markets of the world have shown more interest in the Galaxy S8+. This is definitely surprising since the S8+ is not a small handset by any mean despite its bezel-less design. However, it also shows that more and more consumers are now opting for larger displays on their smartphones
