Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, so now carriers in the United States are confirming launch windows.
First up is Verizon Wireless. The Big Red carrier has announced that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be officially available both in its online store, and in its physical retail stores, beginning April 21. Leading up to that date, though, Verizon will open pre-orders for the new flagship smartphones beginning Thursday, March 30, at 12:01 AM ET. (So 9:01 PM PT on Wednesday, March 29.)
As far as pricing goes, Verizon is charging $30 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S8 — a $720 full retail price. The Galaxy S8+ will mean customers need to fork over $35 per month for 24 months — an $840 full retail price.
