Samsung today sent out invites that released a teaser video confirming that the Galaxy S8 will indeed be launching on March 29. The teaser video ends by hinting at the almost bezel-less front of the Galaxy S8.
The launch event of the Galaxy S8 will be held in New York, but Samsung will likely hold satellite events throughout key cities in the world as well.

The March 29 launch event is in line with rumors that had also pegged the device to launch on the same date. After its unveiling, the Galaxy S8 should go on sale in most markets by the end of the third week in April.
Like the LG G6, the Galaxy S8 is going to shun the bezels for a front that will be completely dominated by its Super AMOLED panel. Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ this time around with 5.7-inch and 6.1-inch Super AMOLED displays, respectively. Internally, the handsets will be powered by the company’s 10nm Exynos 8895 chipset or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset, depending on the variant sold in your region.
