Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have been crowned as the ‘Best Smartphone’ at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2017.
While this year has already seen plenty of flagship like the LG G6, HTC U11, and OnePlus 5 being launched, its tough to beat the Galaxy S8 and S8+ as an overall package. The beautiful glass design coupled with the Infinity Display at the front gives the handset a very futuristic look and feel. In addition, the inclusion of features like iris scanning, a Force Touch enabled Home button, a great camera, and a beautiful Quad HD+ AMOLED display all make the Galaxy S8 the most ‘perfect’ smartphone released in 2017 so far.
The Galaxy S8 was awarded as the ‘Best Smartphone’ by a panel of judges consisting of journalists, analysts, and market influencers who judged the handset on a range of areas including design, UX, value for money, and innovation.
While the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are definitely the best smartphones available in the market right now, they are soon going to face stiff competition from Apple’s iPhone 8 and Google’s upcoming Pixel 2 — both of which are launching in the second half of this year.
Do you think the Galaxy S8 is the best smartphone in the market right now?
