Samsung’s latest flagship handsets, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, are officially going on sale in four major markets of the world: US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Korea. Over the coming weeks, Samsung will be further releasing the phone in other major markets of the world.
The Galaxy S8 and its + sibling are already on pre-order in most of the other major markets of the world. Thanks to their bezel-less design, Infinity Display, and an impressive rear camera, there has been a strong consumer interest in the handsets.
This is evident from their strong pre-order numbers, with the handsets receiving over a million pre-order in Korea alone. In the United States also, the pre-order numbers of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have far exceeded Samsung’s expectations.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ feature an IP68 certification that makes them water and dust-resistant, with their Infinity Display and bezel-less design making them look very attractive.
