The Galaxy S6 was a nicely designed device, but the camera bump on the back made some people less-than-pleased with the design.
Turns out, Samsung has apparently cracked the master code and figured out how to get a slim smartphone, and even keep the overall design they introduced with the Galaxy S6, but also slim down the camera bump on the back. At least, that’s what this newly-leaked image suggests, anyway. As reported by SamMobile, this is a clear look of the Galaxy S7 out in the wild, and we get to see clearly that there’s not a huge protrusion on the back for the camera this time around.
The source for the leak also confirms earlier rumors, pointing to a 12-megapixel camera this time around, as well as a water resistant design, and a magnesium frame. According to the source, the device could launch as early as March 18 in the Vietnamese market.
Samsung has confirmed that it will show off the Galaxy S7 (and Galaxy S7 edge) on Sunday, February 21, a day ahead of the official launch of Mobile World Congress.
