Samsung has a phone coming down the pike, and it’s probably called the Galaxy S7. It might also have two other phones coming, too, all sharing at least a little bit of that flagship’s namesake.
According to a new image posted by Evan Blass, @evleaks, Samsung does indeed have three new devices planned for launch at some point in the future. That includes the Galaxy S7, which will apparently be joined by the Galaxy S7 edge (which isn’t a surprise), and also the Galaxy S7 edge+ (which is a bit of a surprise). That last device is raising some eyebrows, though.
Honestly surprised by this (though it does explain a lot). pic.twitter.com/B7fL41qShm

That’s because there isn’t any additional information shared with the teaser image, which you can see above, but just the names of the rumored devices. The inclusion of a Galaxy S7 edge+ is a bit strange if the rumors are true, though, because it would suggest that the S7 edge+ has a 5.7-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 edge will boast a 5.5-inch screen. Many would argue the difference between those screens isn’t enough to warrant an entirely different device.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 is rumored to feature a 5.1-inch screen. All of these displays are expected to boast a 2560×1440 resolution.
The screen size of Samsung’s next device(s) has actually been a hot topic as of late, so it will be interesting to see which rumors actually pan out to the real thing, hopefully soon.
