According to data collected by SamMobile, Samsung seems to have received almost 10 million pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge since the handsets went up for pre-order in the country on March 11.
Out of the eight channels through which the Galaxy S7 went up for pre-order in China, JD.com alone has received pre-orders for over 6.35 million units. This is followed by Suning having received pre-orders for 1.3 million units, with smaller retailers like Gome and Lynx already selling out of their pre-order inventory.
Combined, Samsung seems to have received pre-orders of over 10 million units for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. With pre-orders for the handset closing on March 18, Samsung is likely on track to receive almost 15 million pre-orders for the handsets.

A Samsung executive has already revealed that the company is seeing better pre-order numbers for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in South Korea and most markets of the world, so it looks like Samsung might just be back in the game with the release of its latest flagship handsets.
