We saw an operational Galaxy S7 in a leaked video earlier this week, and the Galaxy S7 edge has now joined in on the fun. A picture of the curvy S7 published on Twitter shows the phone in its entirety from the front, and it’s the first time we’re seeing a working unit in the flesh.
There’s nothing surprising in the picture – everything matches what we have seen and heard thus far, including the wallpaper that been a part of leaked renders in recent weeks and was made available for download along with other wallpapers from the two devices. The design is very similar to the 5.7-inch Galaxy S6 edge+, which is to say the device looks very attractive, due in part to the black paint job.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are set to be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 21 (a day before MWC officially kicks off). The event will be streamed in 360 degree for mobile, PC and Gear VR users, and thanks to these leaks it looks like the 360 degree streaming might be the only exciting thing about the announcement.
