We have already heard a bit about the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus, but today, the folks over at SamMobile are back with some more concrete information about the handset.
While previous report had pegged the Galaxy S6 edge Plus screen size at anywhere between 5.4 to 5.5-inches, the insider of SamMobile claims that Samsung is ultimately going with a 5.7-inch display for the handset that will be curved on both edges. The insider also confirmed that Samsung will launch the handset with Android 5.1.1 onboard, which makes sense considering it is the latest version of Android available in the market currently.
The insider did not confirm the specs of the handset, but previous reports have suggested that the S6 edge Plus will come with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip, 32GB of internal storage, a 5MP front shooter, and a 16MP rear shooter.
The device is expected to launch sometime in the third quarter of 2015, though the final release date of the handset is still unknown. It is possible that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S6 edge Plus along with the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA in September this year.
