Well, who saw this coming? Another Galaxy S5 variant, with another carrier exclusivity attached to it. The hardware isn’t the only exclusive part of the announcement, as there will be plenty of software pre-loaded on the handset right out of the box with Sprint’s branding.

Sprint has officially announced their newest member to the smartphone lineup: the Galaxy S5 Sport. As you can probably glean from the device’s long name, it’s all about the folks who might be enthusiastic about sports and fitness. Indeed, there is plenty of fitness-themed apps on the device, long before you can ever install any additional apps for yourself. Specifically, you’ll see apps like Sprint Fit Live, which will give you access to to a wide array of health apps. Of course, Samsung’s got their S Health, and Sprint’s included MapMyFitness for good measure.
