Samsung’s newest flagship is expected to take advantage of its slightly bigger screen by doing away with hardware buttons in the front.A trusted source of iTech Addict told the site that Samsung is using a layer of electromagnetic field generated behind the screen for its fingerprint sensor, which is the same technology used for its S Pen. Users won’t need to place their finger on a set location, instead Samsung cleverly made the entire display a fingerprint scanner for multiple use cases. As for the on-screen keys, the Galaxy S5 is doing away with hardware buttons found at the bottom of every Galaxy device out today. This suggest the company is opting for more gesture-based functions.
