Who is ready for another Galaxy S5 variant? To be specific, this one is a hardware variant to the just announced Galaxy S5 LTE-A, the “super Galaxy S5” that Samsung announced on June 18 for South Korea. To add icing to the ever-growing Galaxy S5 cake, Samsung has just made official a brand new version of the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, changing things up on the back cover.
Thankfully, it’s just the back-side of the new Special Edition Galaxy S5 LTE-A that has changed, and nothing under the hood (or with the display), as we saw between the original Galaxy S5 and this new variant. The Special Edition model is launching for South Korea-based wireless carrier KT, and (for now) it’s their exclusive device.
As you can see from the image above, it boasts a new design on the back cover. Instead of the dimples on the original Galaxy S5 (and Galaxy S5 LTE-A), this new one has a diamond pattern. It’s a small change, but if anyone in South Korea was really looking to stand out with their new Galaxy S5 LTE-A, this would be the best way to do it.
What do you think of the new design? Dimples or diamonds?
