If you’re planning on buying a Samsung Galaxy S10 and/or a Galaxy S10+, hopefully you enjoy screen protectors.
This week, Samsung has announced that it is pre-installing a screen protector on both the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. That’s every single variant of the Galaxy S10, and all of the global subsidiaries. According to the company, they decided to go this route to provide “improved screen durability” to the brand new handsets.
“This decision was made to increase overall customer experiences with the improved screen durability and full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.”
Samsung is even going to offer a 90-day warranty for that screen protector that comes pre-installed on your new smartphone. Whether or not this is a good idea will come down to the person buying one of these new smartphones. Some folks dislike screen protectors, and some folks swear by them.
Where do you stand on this? If you plan on picking up the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+, are you happy with Samsung’s decision to pre-install a screen protector?
