Various leaks have pointed to Samsung working on a high-end variant of the Galaxy S10+ featuring 1TB storage and 12GB RAM. To make this variant of the device stand out from the others and to justify its high price, Samsung will be offering it with a ceramic back in white and black colors.

The ceramic back will have a special coating giving it a “metallic luster.”Thanks to the use of ceramic, the back will be scratch resistant and offer a more premium look and feel than the regular glass back variants of the Galaxy S10. Samsung has also treated the ceramic back to ensure it is better able to withstand drops.

We have already seen the likes of Xiaomi launching phones with a ceramic back like the Mi Mix 2. The ceramic back gives these phones a very premium look and feel, though it also makes them heavier than usual. Given the absurd amount of storage and RAM this high-end variant of the Galaxy S10+ will pack, Samsung will launch it in only selected markets and in limited quantities with an extremely high price tag to match.

Additionally, reputable leaker @evleaks has also posted a case render of the Galaxy S10 trio lineup. The renders show off the horizontal camera layout on all three Galaxy S10 variants, with the base Galaxy S10 E featuring a dual-camera setup and the regular S10 and S10+ featuring a triple-camera setup.

Lastly, the base variant of the regular Galaxy S10 has passed through Geekbench confirming that it will come with 6GB RAM. Featuring Samsung’s own Exynos 9820 chipset, the device scored 4,382 and 9,570 in Geekbench’s single and multi-core benchmarks. If anything, the listing confirms that only the Galaxy S10 E will come with 4GB RAM, while the S10 and S10+ will feature 6GB RAM or more depending on the storage variant you pick.

Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy S10 trio of devices at an Unpacked event on February 20.
