Samsung Galaxy On7 On5

Samsung’s new Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones are set to go on sale in India this week, less than two weeks after making their debut in China. Both devices are expected to come with free Milk Music subscriptions.

“Get ready for an exhilarating music experience,” teased Samsung Mobile India on Twitter, promising to reveal more tomorrow, November 3. “On” is also written in large letters on its promotional image, all but confirming the new On5 and On7 devices are arriving.

The Galaxy On5 is the more affordable of the two devices, and slightly smaller with a 5-inch display versus the On7’s 5.5-inch display. But both handsets offer similar specifications, including Exynos 3475 processors clocked at 1.3GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.

They also offer 720p resolutions, microSD card slots, LTE connectivity, and 5-megapixel front-facing cameras.

The On7 also boasts a larger 3,000mAh battery versus the On5’s 2,600mAh battery, and a better 13-megapixel rear-facing camera versus the On5’s 8-megapixel shooter.

It’s unclear how much these devices will cost in India at this point; we’ll have to wait until Samsung makes them official to find out more.
