The wait for the Galaxy Note 8 from Samsung is almost over, as the company has officially announced when they will unveil it.
Today, the official U.S.-based Samsung News Twitter account revealed that the company will be hosting an event in New York City on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. It’s another Galaxy Unpacked event, so there’s a new Galaxy-branded device on the way. And of course, Samsung is doing everything it can to just about spoil the surprise on the invite itself, making it obvious what they will be uncovering later next month.
The invite is simple enough, showing a device’s border with no bezels on the sides, and minimal borders on the top and bottom. It’s a similar design to the Galaxy S8 itself, but, inside the border it reads, “Do bigger things,” telling everyone this is a bigger phone than what’s come before from the company, but it will be keeping the design aesthetic from the Galaxy S8.
There is also a blue stylus right there to look at, also confirming that it’s a Galaxy Note 8 on the horizon.
The Galaxy Note 8 will feature plenty of high-end specifications, and features that were present in the Galaxy S8 (which were typically present in the Galaxy Note 7 first), will more than likely be making the jump to the bigger phone. It will be interesting to see just how big the display is, especially with the similar design to the Galaxy S8.
Whatever the case, we don’t have long to wait, as the Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled on August 23. Are you excited?
