Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 has already leaked in press renders this week and now the detailed specs of the device have also been leaked online. Coming from the ever reliable @evleaks, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6. (cityoflightpublishing.com) 3-inch QHD+ Infinity Display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960.
The 8.5mm thick device will feature squared-off corners in typical Note series style. The device will feature largely the same internals as the Galaxy S8, though with some minor improvements thrown in. Similar to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S handset from this year, the Note 8 will be powered by an Exynos 8895 chipset, with the US variants being powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The Note 8 will be coming with 6GB of RAM compared to 4GB found on the S8 and S8+. Other specs of the device remain the same which includes 64GB of storage, microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC, USB-C, 3,5mm jack, and wireless charging.
Unlike the Galaxy S8, the Note 8 comes with dual-12MP camera setup at its rear. The primary 12MP shooter features f/1.7 aperture, with the secondary telephoto lens featuring a 12MP resolution, f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Both sensors will also feature OIS. The front of the Note 8 will feature an 8MP with f/1.7 aperture.
All the specs will be powered by a 3300mAh with fast charging support. The device will first ship in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colors, with Samsung introducing Deep Sea Blue and Orchid Grey colors down the line. Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 in New York.
