Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 8 in just over three weeks from now at an event in New York. Ruining Samsung’s launch event is prolific leaker @evleaks who has leaked a press render in all its glory.
The leaked press render shows the front of the device which looks like an amalgamation of the Galaxy S8 and the Note 7. The rear render shows the dual-camera setup and the fingerprint scanner which is sadly still located at the same odd position as on the Galaxy S8.

Overall, from a design standpoint, the Galaxy Note 8 just looks like a more squarer version of the Galaxy S8 with a slightly bigger display. It still retains the minimal bezels at the front along with the Infinity Display as seen on the S8. The gold variant of the Note 8 with a black camera set up does look a bit odd though. Samsung will likely offer the Galaxy Note 8 in a wide variety of colors similar to what it did with the Galaxy S8 earlier this year.
The rumor mill suggests that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 6.3-inch QHD+ display, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, and an Exynos 885/Snapdragon 835 chipset. It will also be Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a dual-camera setup at the rear. A recent FCC filing suggests that Samsung has gone for a camera setup similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus on the Note 8, though the company will be one-upping Apple by offering 3x optical zoom.
Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 on August 23.
