With just over a month to go for Samsung to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 8, the handset has been leaked in new renders made by case maker Ghostek. The renders show the phone in all its glory including the dual-camera setup at the rear.
From the front, the Galaxy Note 8 looks similar to the Galaxy S8, though it does have a slightly squarish top and bottom which is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 7 from last year. At the front, the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 6.3-inch QHD+ Infinity Display.
Things are no different at the rear as the Galaxy Note 8 has largely the same design as that of the S8. Sadly, this also means that the oddly placed fingerprint scanner continues to be placed right beside the camera module thereby making it difficult to access.
As for the camera module itself, the render gives us a look at the dual camera setup the Galaxy Note 8 is going to ship with. Samsung’s implementation is likely going to be similar to that of Apple so the Note 8 should offer optical zoom and a Portrait mode. The ports on the Note 8 are also located in the same position as on the Galaxy S8 i.e. at the bottom albeit there is an additional slot at the bottom for the S-Pen.
It was only earlier today that Samsung sent out invites confirming that it will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 at an event being held in New York.
What do you think about the Galaxy Note 8 based on the above leaked renders?
