Recently, a report surfaced that outlined some specifications for the upcoming, and oft-rumored, Galaxy Note 7 from Samsung.
Those specs will reportedly feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood, coupled with 4GB of RAM for good measure. There shouldn’t be a doubt in most people’s mind that the Galaxy Note 7 will be a powerhouse when it launches later this year, and for the folks who’ve been waiting to see what a unit might look like, a recently leaked may help with that.
What is being called a prototype for the Galaxy Note 7 has been surfaced, making the rounds on Twitter, showing off the device out in the wild. The images were shared via Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), and show the device with the familiar Galaxy Note phablet features: Squarish corners, a physical Home button, which is flanked by Recent Apps and a Back button.
It’s worth noting that the device appears to be in a case, too, and there’s no branding immediately visible in some of the images because it is billed as a prototype. Some changes could still be in the works, especially depending on when this prototype was designed, but there’s no doubt this looks like a Galaxy Note phablet.
What do you think of the design?
