The folks over at GSMArena have received some images of Samsung’s upcoming phablet — the Galaxy Note 4. This is the first time the actual device has leaked in pictures, with previous leaks only confirming its specs and features.

From the leaked images, it is quite evident that Samsung has refined the Note 3’s design on its latest phablet, rather than doing a complete re-design. Unlike the Galaxy S5, Samsung has managed to reduce the bezel on the front of the Note 4 to a very minimum, which is always welcome.

At the back, the company has retained its faux-leather like plastic back, though this time it seems to have a different texture to it.

Samsung also seems to have moved the speakers on the device to the bottom, as evident from the above image. It is not yet clear whether the ring running around the edges of the device is made of actual metal or simply has a faux-metal finish to it. The images also confirm the presence of a heart-rate monitor on the device, which was originally seen on its smaller brother — the Galaxy S5.

On a personal note, the Note 4 looks much better than the ugly Galaxy S5, and is easily the best looking device from the company till date.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 4 next month on September 3 at Berlin in IFA.
