Samsung today announced its roll-out plans for the Galaxy Note 4, which as rumored yesterday, has been pushed forward because of the new iPhone(s) selling 10 million units in just four days.

The Galaxy Note 4 was initially scheduled to arrive in stores from October in most markets of the world. Samsung, however, has brought forward the retail availability of the phablet in Korea to September 26th on the major carriers present in the country including SK Telecom and KT.

The company also announced that its latest phablet will be available in more than 140 countries across the globe by the end of October.

Last week, Samsung had announced the pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 4 in the United States on AT&T and Verizon with the retail availability of the device scheduled from October 17th.

While Samsung’s press release does not mention anything about China, it is very well possible that the Note 4 goes on sale there before the iPhone — which should give its sales a huge boost, at least initially.

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM and a Quad-HD AMOLED display. The phablet also comes with quite a few new features and innovations including an S-Pen that is twice as sensitive to pressure as its predecessor and a 16MP camera with Smart OIS.
