Following the success of the Galaxy S10 series, Samsung is now preparing to launch the Galaxy Note 10. As per Cnet, the company is reportedly planning on launching the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7.

Samsung has usually launched the Galaxy Note series in early August so this timeframe matches perfectly. Samsung is expected to launch two different Galaxy Note 10 models this time around: one regular 6.3-inch variant and a ‘Pro’ variant with a massive 6.7-inch display.

Both models are expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset/Exynos 9820, pack 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, microSD card slot, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Samsung is also expected to launch at least one variant of the Galaxy Note 10 with 5G connectivity. All Note 10 variants will include a primary 12MP f/1.5-f/2.4 primary shooter, an ultra-wide angle 16MP f/2.2 camera, and a 12MP 2x telephoto sensor. The Pro model is also expected to feature a fourth ToF sensor.

Like the Galaxy S10 series, the Note 10 is also expected to come with a punch-hole display, though Samsung will reposition it to the center of the display. It will also be the first flagship Samsung smartphone to ditch the headphone jack.

Samsung is expected to further reduce the bezels on the Note 10 series and switch to Sound on Display technology and eliminate the top earpiece completely. We have already seen the likes of Huawei and LG do something similar with their flagship smartphones this year. However, it remains to be seen if the switch to the Sound on Display technology will adversely affect the stereo speaker setup and its sound quality on the Note 10 series.
