Another day and another set of images of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha have made their way to the Internet. This time though, the handset has been directly compared to its rival — the iPhone 5s.
From the comparison image above, it is quite clear that the Galaxy Alpha will be even thinner than the iPhone 5S, which already has an extremely thin waistline at 7.6mm. The Alpha, however, does have a slight camera bump, which the iPhone 5s lacks.
It is also evident from these images that the Galaxy Alpha design is inspired from the iPhone with a metallic frame running across the edges of the device along with drilled holes at the bottom for the speaker.
According to the source of these leaks, cueleaks, the Galaxy Alpha will come with a 4.7-inch 720p resolution Super-AMOLED display, an Exynos Octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12MP camera and a 1850mAh removable battery.
Another leak of the Galaxy Alpha, this time directly from Samsung’s website, hints that the handset would be released in five different variants to cater to the needs of different markets and operators. Two of these models would also be making their way to AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States, respectively.
