Samsung Galaxy A7 now official

Samsung has introduced a powerful mid-range device this week, one that welcomes the company’s first attempt at a major new feature for the company moving forward.

The word on the street is that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S10 next year with several different models, one of which may boast five total cameras: three on the back, two on the front. Moving towards that goal, it looks like Samsung is ready to introduce the three rear camera feature in a mid-range device, well in advance of its next flagship being introduced.

On Thursday, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy A7. The handset’s title feature is the trio of cameras on the back, with the primary shooter being a 24-megapixel sensor. That is coupled with a 5-megapixel “depth lens”, which will handle bokeh effects for portrait photos. And finally, an 8MP wide-angle lens.

As for the rest of the handset, the Galaxy A7 boasts a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with up 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage options. The Galaxy A7 features a 3300mAh battery, Android 8.0 Oreo, NFC, and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is launching October 11 in Europe and Asia, but Samsung hasn’t divulged pricing just yet.
