Last month, Samsung unveiled its first metal clad phone and probably its best looking phone till date — the Galaxy Alpha. Now, it looks like Samsung is working on launching more devices under its new Alpha moniker as indicated by the leaked pictures of the Galaxy A5.
From the leaked pictures, it is quite evident that the Galaxy A5 sports a design that is very similar to the Galaxy Alpha.
Unlike the Galaxy Alpha though, the A5 is not going to come with a full metal body. Instead, the phone seems to be made of some other material which “feels cold in the hand.” It is very much possible that Samsung is going to use some other material to keep the costs down since the specs of the Galaxy A5 does not exactly scream high end as well.
On the specifications side, the Galaxy A5 is going to feature a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a 13MP snapper, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 2330mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. The handset will be running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat when released with the latest version of TouchWiz as seen on the Note 4 on top of it.
