The Motorola Moto E3 Power, a variant of the third generation Moto E and with the model number XT1706 is rumoured to also be launched as Lenovo Vibe C2. This is not surprising, given that Lenovo retains controlling stake in Motorola, and as such, shared design devices were an inevitability.
The latest rumour, about the device being also marketed as the Vibe C2, does not have much credibility to back it up, however, the concept of Lenovo and Motorola marketing the same device under two distinct names to reach their target market does make a logical point. Whether the Moto E3 Power is ultimately marketed as the Lenovo Vibe C2 in eastern markets has yet to be seen, but for now, this is one probable rumour.
Equipped with a 5.2-inch, 720 x 1280 HD display, a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a quad-core 1GHz CPU. The Moto E3 Power will come with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of external storage, and a 2750mAh battery. This Android 6.0.1 running Moto E has just received its Wi-Fi certification through the Wi-Fi Alliance.
A Wi-Fi certification unlike a FCC or TENAA certificate does not indicate that a device is launching soon, that having being said, it is only a matter of time before the Moto E3 Power is unveiled.
