According to famed HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, HTC will be unveiling the M10, codenamed Perfume, at a dedicated event that will be held sometime after MWC in March.
HTC also plans on offering two variants of the M10: one with a Snapdragon 820 chipset that will be primarily sold in the United States and Europe, with another variant being powered by a MediaTek chipset that is primarily targeted towards the Asian market. Additionally, he also revealed that the M10 will be running on Android 6.0.1 with Sense 8.0 when it is launched to the public.
I'm expecting 2 versions of the device: Qualcomm 820 (for EU and US markets) and MTK based (Mainly for China and South-East Asia)…

While leaks regarding the Galaxy S7 have been frequently making their way to the Internet now, there have been almost no news surrounding the next flagship from HTC. The Taiwanese company had a poor 2015, with all its smartphone failing to make a mark among consumers. 2016 is likely a do-or-die year for HTC and a lot depends on how the company’s flagship phone for the year does.
By launching the M10 outside of MWC, HTC is ensuring that its flagship phone gets more limelight than other flagship phones being launched at the show floor of MWC. In the end though, the success of the phone depends on how good it is. Here is hoping that HTC has learnt its lesson from the disastrous One M9, and will go all out with the M10 this year.
