After successfully launching the Galaxy Note7, Samsung has launched a new offer for Samsung Pay — a transaction system that allows users to turn their device into a ‘tap-&-go’ credit card. This new promotion by Samsung has been dubbed the High Five Referral Programme and it rewards users with $5 for every friend they invite to use the system
As part of the High Five Referral Programme, Samsung is enticing existing users with $5 for every successful invitation they send to family or friends, up to a maximum of 40 invitations. Thats $200 in total that you can earn in your Samsung Rewards card (an e-wallet within Samsung Pay that credits you back for promotions like this). If you were planning on cheating the system, then do note: The compensation will only be credited to your account once your friend makes a transaction.
To receive the rewards, you need to not only have Samsung Pay, but also your friend or family needs to make the purchases at a retailer that accepts Visa cards. Currently, there is nothing stated about the minimum purchase required for the system to start working. This means, that even if your friend makes a $1 purchase, you will still be credited $5.
To make the deal even sweeter, your friend will also receive a $5 credit into their account upon making the transaction.
If you have not already switched to using Samsung Pay, this might be a good time to do so. If you do use Samsung Pay, we would like to hear how you find the system so far, so leave us a comment and let us know!
