If you’re reading this, you’re a geek, and that means you probably visit your local technology store’s website every once in a while to see what’s new and how much things cost. That’s exactly what I just did several minutes ago, and I’ve discovered that the red HTC One is available for pre-order from Gigantti for 630 Euros. Best part is the shipping date: July 22nd. That’s two weeks from today.
Am I going to buy one? Of course not, I don’t have that kind of money laying around. I bought a new phone (Galaxy Note II) either in late January or early February (honestly can’t remember), so it’s barely half a year old.
Should you buy one? That’s a deeply personal question. I don’t know anything about you, what you do with your phone, or how much disposable you have. And besides, it’s summer, which means it’s the worst time to buy a phone. In less than two months we’re likely going to see the Galaxy Note III from Samsung, the One Mini and One Max from HTC, the G2 from LG, and the list just goes on.
