Back at I/ O, Google had announced a new re-design for the web version of the Play Store, keeping in line with the re-designed Android app. Today, the big-G has started rolling out the re-designed web Play Store to users over the world.

The re-designed Play Store definitely looks stunning, and follows a design language that is similar to the one used in the Android app. It also places equal emphasis on other Play services like Play Movies and Books, which makes sense, considering the Google team has expanded these services to regions other than the USA in the last 1 year.

Apart from a new design, Google has also added two features that were missing from the web Play store from a long time – the ability to see your wishlist on your PC and to redeem a gift card. While the Redeem gift card option will be available for everyone, it will only work in selected regions where the Google Play cards are actually available.
