Hyping up the launch of the LG G5 next week, Qualcomm has posted a teaser for the handset on Twitter which confirms that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset.
LG using Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chipset on the G5 should not really come as a surprise since there really is no other chipset manufacturer that can match Qualcomm’s chipsets in power and efficiency.
The teaser from Qualcomm also features the tagline “a whole new way to play” which likely hints at the Magic Slot of the handset, which leaked for the first time in photos earlier today.
Beside the Snapdragon 820 chipset, the LG G5 is rumored to come with a 5.3-inch Quad HD ‘Always-on’ display, 4GB RAM, dual-camera setup at the rear, a fingerprint scanner at the rear, and a 3,000mAh battery.
LG is all set to unveil the LG G5 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 21.
