HTC has already announced that it will be updating the One M8 and One M7 to Android 5.0 Lollipop within 90 days of the source code being released by Google. The company has also confirmed on Twitter that it would be updating the One Mini 2, One Max, the HTC Butterfly 2 to Lollipop, though it failed to provide any timeframe.

LlabTooFeR, a prominent developer in the HTC development scene, has shared an estimated timeframe as to when HTC plans on rolling out the Lollipop update to its devices.

First in line are the Google Play edition of the HTC One M7 and M8, which are slated to receive the update somewhere between late-November to early December. Their Sense counterparts should receive the update sometime next year in January or February.

Next, the Taiwanese OEM plans to update the Desire EYE, the Dual SIM variants of the One M8, M7, E8 and the Butterfly 2 to Android 5.0 somewhere between January to March with its popular mid-range Desire handsets like the 816, 820 and the One mini 2 getting some Lollipop love in March or April 2015. Lastly, HTC plans to update the One Max, One Mini and the original Butterfly S to Lollipop sometime between March to May of next year.

LlabTooFeR also says that HTC is evaluating whether its other Desire branded devices will be eligible for the update or not, especially those that are based on a MediaTek processor.
