Yesterday, Apple announced two new iPhones — the iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch and the iPhone 6 Plus with 5.5-inch screen. The former is is the successor to the iPhone 5s and is meant for people for whom one-handed usage is of uttermost importance, while the latter is for people have longed for an iOS running ‘phablet’.

The 4.7-inch screen on the iPhone 6 is a substantial jump from its predecessor, which featured a 4-inch screen. Samsung had anticipated the launch of a 4.7-inch iPhone and in its response had announced its direct competitor last month itself — the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha sports a metal frame and is probably the smartest looking Galaxy device ever released from the Korean giant.

Sony had also announced a ‘compact’ flagship Android device at IFA last week — the Xperia Z3 Compact — which is also a direct competitor to the iPhone 6.

So, how exactly does the iPhone 6 fare against these ‘compact’ Droids? Check out the specs comparison below to find out.
