In a bid to take on the Jet Black iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and to rejuvenate the sales of its 2016 flagship the Galaxy S7, Samsung will be introduced a ‘Pearl Black’ variant of the handset in South Korea on December 9. The Pearl Black Galaxy had previously leaked in live images thereby confirming its existence.
The Pearl Black Galaxy S7 looks very similar to the Black Onyx variant of the handset that Samsung has been selling since day one. It is just that the black is slightly more dark on the Pearl Black variant.
While the specs of the Pearl Black Galaxy S7 edge will remain the same as the original S7 edge that launched in March this year, the handset will come with 128GB of storage space compared to 32GB of storage that is available on the existing variants of the handset.
It is likely that we will see Samsung launch the Pearl Black Galaxy S7 edge launch in other limited markets of the world as well, which Samsung is yet to disclose.
Are you looking forward to Samsung launching a Pearl Black Galaxy S7 edge? Or are you going to hold out for the Galaxy S8?
