The Paranoid Android team has been hard at work on bringing PA to a daily-driver level with the latest version of Jelly Bean, Android 4.3. The team is not just adding existing features, but is refining them as well. Over the weekend, the PA team released a new build of their ROM that brings with it v2.0 of HALO.

For the unknown, Paranoid Android’s Halo feature is similar to the Chat Heads feature introduced by Facebook Messenger, except that it works system wide across all apps. With the new version of HALO, the team aims to refine it further by allowing support for plug-ins and add-ons. The biggest change, however, is in HALO’s functionality. Instead of showing just the notification text, HALO will now show the actual notifications.

To allow for insane multi-tasking, the team has also added in multi-touch support so that you can use your two-fingers and show off your uber multi-tasking skills. The first release (v3.97) is only available for the Nexus 4 (mako), and could have some bugs or stability issues.
